!Ellen Curran- contributor personal interview - lives #9 Cobbs Grove Rd, E Dennis, MA (16 Jun 93), no children She taught at the Dennis Consolidated School and she and Dave moved to NJ. They retired to E Dennis in 1980 She recalls that when they lived on 6A (at the foot of Sears Rd, N side) she had to go up the hill to brings the cows home from Cedar Pond. She says Mercy Howes was a boarder in their front room( Mercy Sears No. 2724, was Knyvett Howes mother and was blind at the time). Ellen's father Walter had 21 kinds of apple trees on the property. The house was built about 1800.
