Sears-L Interactive Internet Mailing List

Would you like to join an online, interactive mailing list with other Sears researchers? If so, follow these simple instructions, and you will be writing to a group of Sears descendants that will be happy to hear from you, and you will get responses in no time!

1) In an e-mail addressed to: Sears-L-request@rootsweb.com

2) Put the word SUBSCRIBE in the subject line of your e-mail. Use only the word SUBSCRIBE as it will be received as a computer command.

3) Next, put the word SUBSCRIBE in the body of your e-mail. Use only the word SUBSCRIBE once again, as it is also being received as a computer command.

4) Now send the e-mail.

5) Within minutes, you will receive a confirmation note from the rootsweb.com computer.

6) Once your confirmation letter comes (and not before), start sending your genealogy queries to: Sears-L@rootsweb.com

Notice: The address you send queries to is not the same as that you subscribed to (the -request is not included). If you send queries to the address used to subscribe to, it wont make it to the list. HAPPY HUNTING!
