Dennis, Cape Cod, p 548, Mr Murphy was engaged to erect a tower of cobblestones (Scargo Tower), which were to be supplied by H Edmund Sears (1870-1937). Mr Sears brought the stones by barge from Sandy Neck in Barnstable.

Yarmouth Register, Fri, 26 Jul 1957, p 4, East Dennis - by, Mrs Ralph Richardson, Approximately 100 friends, neighbors and relatives of Mr and Mrs Seleck Matthews Sears attended an open house at their home on Wednesday, July 17, to help them celebrate their golden wedding anniversary. Mr Sears, for 39 years president and sales manager of the A P Howard Co, Boston printers and lithographers, retired in 1951, but remained as a director. Mr and Mrs Sears spend their summers here and their winters in St Petersburg, Fla. Their daughter, Mrs Abbott Y Wilcox of St Petersburg, attended the celebration.
